Climate Wars. Run! But to where?

I started listening to episode 1 of 3 of that Climate Wars podcast from the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Company) a couple of links ago, on the train into work this morning.  The interview subjects are actually mostly Americans, from the military and think-tanks, talking about the implications of climate change for national security and society. It’s not a left/right issue in most of the world; Margaret Thatcher was so alarmed that she set up the Hadley Centre to study the issue back in the 80s.  And the US military takes it seriously.

The picture is not pretty, but it sure is interesting.  You might want to give the show a listen.  We’re headed somewhere either bad, awful or horrific.  That’s the “uncertainty” of climate change science, according to the head of the Pew Center on Global Climate Change.

There’s nowhere to run.  Let’s fix it.
